Charles W. Shaver
Chief Executive Officer Charlie has more than 35 years of leadership roles in the global chemical and oil and gas industries. He joined Nouryon on October 1, 2018 from Axalta, where he served six years as CEO and he remains Chairman of the Board. - His prior roles have included CEO and President of the TPC Group; Vice President and General Manager for General Chemical; and Vice President and General Manager for Arch Chemicals. - A US national, he has a degree in Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M University and started his career at the Dow Chemical Company. - He has held leadership roles in industry organizations including the American Chemistry Council and the American Coatings Association. - He also has served as an Operating Partner of Golden Gate Capital and The Carlyle Group. He is also Chairman of the Board of U.S. Silica and a Member of the Board of Atotech.
Renier Vree
Chief Financial Officer Renier joined the company in March 2018 from Arcadis, where he was CFO and member of the Board of Management; he also served as interim CEO from October 2016 until April 2017. His responsibilities include of the Finance and Information Management functions. He started his career at Philips N.V. in 1987, and held a number of management and finance positions there, including CFO and executive vice president at Philips Lighting. A Dutch national, he obtained a chartered controller degree at the Free University of Amsterdam and a degree in quantitative business economics at the University of Rotterdam.

Jaap de Keijzer
Member of the Executive Committee, General Counsel and Company Secretary Jaap joined AkzoNobel in 2017 from law firm De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, where he was an attorney specializing in competition, regulation, state aid, and fraud. A Dutch national, and studied both law and geology and also has an MBA. He started practicing law in 1989.
