Our Surface Chemistry Business Unit is one of the world’s leading specialty chemical manufacturers of surfactants, polymers and solvents, providing innovative surface chemistry technologies and solutions in industries such as agro, asphalt, cleaning, fabric care, mining, personal care and petroleum.

We are seeking to fill a role for Tolling Coordinator. This position will manage the operations of our contract manufacturers. You will ensure that business requirements are met and confirm company compliance with Procurement and EHS corporate guidelines.

Job Location: Houston, TX or Chicago, IL
Reports to: Tolling Manager, NA
Travel Requirements: Up to 15%

Key Objectives/Principal Accountabilities:
- Planning, scheduling, inventory management, production, shipping, and material ordering (raw materials & interplant transfers) to assigned toll processors
- Support Tolling Manager in execution of the Tolling Strategy 
- Payment approval of all invoices from tollers
- Coordination of transfers between Surface Chemistry production plants
- Provide backup for other tolling coordinators
- Generate KPI data for tollers
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders for issue resolution

Job Requirements

Minimum Job Requirements:

- Four-year college degree, in Supply Chain management or related technical discipline, plus a minimum of ten years of related technical or engineering experience (related to tolling system delivery) including seven years of project engineering/management, program management or other supervisory responsibility.
- Experience in supply chain or plant logistics functions of a manufacturing facility is   preferred.
- Experience in SAP required, with knowledge in Production Planning (PP), Materials Management (MM) and Sales and Distribution (SD) modules beneficial. Ability to troubleshoot SAP transactions highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. Advanced ability with Excel including formulas and pivot tables.
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Team player with a can-do attitude
- Proven understanding of engineering, operations (procurement, subcontracting, and manufacturing), system integration and test, quality assurance, configuration management, logistics, contract administration, standard business practices, finance, and the relationship of programs within a portfolio.
- Desire to take initiative and develop a pro-active relationship with internal and external customers and suppliers through follow-up, understanding workload; must be able to manage multiple tasks at once without sacrificing attention to detail
