The purpose of the Account Manager position is to develop business with both new and existing customers for the Catalyst and Polishing applications:
•Catalyst: clean air and efficient use of resources are critical concerns for the world today. Catalysts play an important role in society to meet these challenges. Levasil Colloidal Silica, a natural product of sand and water, provides a sustainable solution to meet and exceed the increasing demands on catalyst performance. The product’s excellent inorganic high temperature binding capability increases the mechanical stability of catalysts.
•Polishing: our products are used as a "hi-tech“abrasive for shaping, smoothing, and polishing silicon, metals, sapphire, and other precision substrate materials. The main application is in silica slurries for chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) used by the semiconductor industry to fabricate integrated circuits and memory disks.
Key goals for this position:
Develop relationships with customers and prospects, aiming to maximize customer satisfaction and business growth
Contribute to acceleration of growth in North America by expanding our business in Catalyst and Polishing applications
Interface with regional and global internal resources (i.e. Business Development, Marketing, Sales Support and Integrated Supply Chain) to meet customer needs and requirements
Position in the organization
Responsibilities
Topline P&L responsible for Catalyst and Polishing applications in North America. This includes sales budget planning, margin management and cost optimization
Implement the regional Sales and Marketing strategy for the assigned applications
Prepare the annual sales budget and quarterly updates for the assigned customer portfolio
Constantly evaluate sales results, new  business opportunities and trends, aimed at continuous improvement
Build and expand relationships with potential and existing customers
Generate new leads based on market intelligence, research, or internal resources
Determine pricing and margin strategy, negotiate contracts, terms and conditions for the customer portfolio
Update the demand forecast for the assigned customer portfolio on monthly basis
Monthly reporting of all activities including sales
General administration including management of sales contracts
Collect and share market and application intelligence
Improve commercial competence and gain access to new businesses through participation in trade shows, courses and seminars

Job Requirements

 
Job Requirements
Master’s degree in Chemical engineering.
At least seven years of (Technical) Sales experience, either fully or partially in the Chemicals Industry. Experience in the Catalyst market is strongly preferred
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong drive for results and market oriented mindset
Collaborative cross-functional team player
Striving for continuous improvements
