Purpose/Key Objectives of the Job
The Chlorate technology specialist position based in Columbus will have the dual accountability of the technology related safety issues, and of the VMC improvement for the Columbus and Moses Lake chlorate plants
From a safety stand point, the chlorate technology specialist will have to
Ensure that the plants adhere to the recommendations/directive.
Support actively the implementation of the recommendations/directives.
Participate in all the investigations related to the technology incidents
In regard of the VMC the chlorate technology specialist will have a dual accountability of the VMC improvements for both sites :
Actively support the plant in identifying VMC opportunities based on the BAT and other plants experience.
Active role in the integration of the opportunities in the various processes.
The chlorate technology specialist will also be involved in various meeting/activities to support the chlorate technology development.
Process safety : dual accountability of the technology related issues in the chlorate plants of Columbus and Moses Lake.
VMC : dual accountability of the VC improvements in the chlorate plants of Columbus and Moses Lake.
The chlorate technology specialist has to be able to perform with a high level of autonomy in order to ensure the improvement in terms of process and in term of VMC.
