Full-time, Industrial Chemicals Salt

Gelderland, Netherlands Apply Now Apply until: 18 Jan 2019

Responsibility

An involving opportunity to play your part in the ongoing success of a major salt producer

Nouryon provides a wide range of high quality and sustainable ingredients that are integral to numerous key industrial processes worldwide. Thus we serve high profile customers in sectors including paints, detergents, foods, plastics, cosmetics, construction, pulp and paper, pharmaceuticals, electronics, agro and oilfield applications.

As a leading salt producer – with production based on advanced vacuum salt technology – we provide the widest possible portfolio of high-quality salt products for a wide range of industrial and commercial customers.

Within this context, your mission in this role is to support Sales/Account managers throughout the sales process as we strive to provide outstanding customer service and build/maintain customer relationships (both internal and external). In doing so you help to ensure that we always act in accordance with agreed terms and in compliance with laws and regulations.

Is this a challenge that matches your profile as a service-focused, accurate and confident professional with valuable sales process skills? Could you develop a rapid knowledge of our customers and markets? Can you embody our values by acting as a responsible and structured team player and problem solver?
Above all, do you have what it takes to make a real difference within our dynamic, multinational and multicultural business environment?
If you offer all this and more, we invite you to apply for the position of Sales Assistant Salt Specialties.

The role and its responsibilities
This position is based at our regional hub in Arnhem, the Netherlands. From here you perform a number of important tasks and activities, providing valuable support for Sales managers and constantly communicating with Sales teams.

In particular you focus on CRM and master data (pricing, customer) management across the entire Salt business. In doing so you actively manage and create customer master data, assuring integrity and securing changes. You also manage customer requests and conduct customer questionnaires, contract management process, and specific sales related projects.

Further, you maintain rebates, bonuses, discount agreements in the SAP system, including the communication and settlement of agreements. You also initiate and lead improvement projects within the work processes, techniques and systems.

In addition you support sales with Credit Control. This requires the active monitoring, analyzing and (pro-active) dunning of overdues in cooperation with the Credit Control department. You also handle complaint coordination, assuring timely follow-up and communication to customers and internal stakeholders.

In performing all these activities you constantly seek to develop, implement and/or optimize work processes, techniques and systems. You share knowledge (best practices) and contribute to the standardization and harmonization of processes and systems, including the delivery of training to Sales managers.

All of this demands that you act as focal point for customer related issues towards the internal organization. As such, it is essential that you communicate effectively on status and issues towards stakeholders (internally and externally).
