Responsible for translating requirements into a solution and describing it through solution architecture and design in the domain of Supply Chain and Research and Development, and specifically Quality Management. Solve business challenges as per defined charter using knowledge, experience, and analysis of available information.  The architecture designs are expected to be in line with business processes and the Nouryon group’s wide architectural standards, guidelines, and roadmaps. Coordinate the identification and assessment of new and emerging technologies, products, methods, and techniques for the Quality Management domain. Design and document moderately/complex “fit for purpose” solutions using a structured approach and approved template models.  Identify innovation within the architecture domains and facilitates supports in management.  Analyze current business and IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommends solutions for improvement.  Translate complex/innovative business needs into shared solutions architecture requirements.  Drive implementation of solutions in adherence with the solution design.  Actively use and promote best practice solutions. Perform impact assessments on business demand and high level requirements to uncover and mitigate.

Job Requirements

• Master’s degree OR Bachelor’s degree (equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study.
• Two (2) years of experience w/ a Master’s degree OR five (5) years of experience w/ a Bachelor’s degree in the IT sector with SAP within the manufacturing industry.  Employer will accept experience gained before or after completion of Bachelor’s degree.   
• Experience in architecture with relevant experience in Supply Chain and Research & Development domain.  Minimum requirement of 2 years for Master’s degree holder and 5 years for Bachelor’s degree holder.
• Experience in technology platforms with relevant experience in the Supply Chain and Research & Development domain.  Minimum requirement of 2 years for Master’s degree holder and 5 years for Bachelor’s degree holder.
• Experience in business domains with relevant experience in the Supply Chain and Research & Development domain.  Minimum requirement of 2 years for Master’s degree holder and 5 years for Bachelor’s degree holder.
• Experience in business process.  Minimum requirement of 2 years for Master’s degree holder and 5 years for Bachelor’s degree holder.
• Experience in application architecture design (logical and physical), frameworks (TOGAF), tools, technologies and methodologies.  Minimum requirement of 2 years for Master’s degree holder and 5 years for Bachelor’s degree holder.
