Purpose/Key Objectives of the Job
To support the sales organization in delivering the growth projections laid out in the strategy. To create, communicate and ensure execution of relevant segment(s) marketing plans including the R&D project portfolio and prioritization of the global tech service resources . Establish contacts in the market for full visibility of our business and to develop our brands. Contribute to the development and the realization of the strategy for the business. Hands-on business development approach at customers to get products approved in lab and production. To ensure a global segment approach by organizing global communication via segment meetings or global calls. Interact with Regional Sales Managers and Regional marketing managers in all relevant regions.
·Create the Global Segment Marketing plan based on the segment strategy, market conditions and customer needs, translate this to regional level and ensure execution
·Branding and positioning of products and trademarks for the segment(s)
·Collect and communicate up to date market trends and competitive information
·Identify, establish and maintain strategic partnerships and networks.
·Define and implement price policies (reference margins) for global products
·Act as a key interface with RD&I for product development and product life cycle analysis (project portfolio management)
·Training and knowledge sharing in their segment
·Provide monthly input to global PMR in IBP, create monthly global segment marketing updates.
·Lead the Global Marketing team for the segment(s)
·Develop customer/market segment strategies, value propositions for a product portfolio/segment.
·Lead and guide in implementation and execution of segment strategy
·Transform insights and opportunities from the market, competition, regulatory changes, industry trends and detailed understanding of the value chain into ideas, concepts, plans and actions and portfolio changes.
·Lead lab and plant trials at customers to develop new business opportunities
·Maintain close contact with Sales organization to ensure market input gathered and translated into winning value propositions.
