Responsibility

Nouryon is recruiting a Senior IT Project Manager with a documented international track record of successfully implementing large scale back office IT projects regionally and globally. The Project Manager has full responsibility for initiating, defining and delivery of the projects. Our project portfolio consists of several programs like ERP, Logistics, Procurement and IT. In this Project Management role the focus will mainly be at IT infrastructure, but other domains could come by as well. As a Project Manager you will need to involve and mobilize business stakeholders, liaise with senior management, internal and external suppliers and track delivery of execution progress against plan.
 
For this position we are looking for a proven senior professional who is result driven and makes sure projects are successfully delivered. You have in-depth experience with IT infrastructure projects. With experience in the network domain (WAN, (M)LAN, IPT, MPS, digital workplace, Microsoft, setting up new sites, etc.). As a Project Manager you will be part of the Nouryon IT PMO. You have the drive and skills to help Nouryon to professionalize project based working.
 
- Manages cross functional and multi-cultural project teams to meet project objectives agreed with the project executive and within a set of defined criteria of costs, quality, time and communication.

- Leads delivery teams and suppliers to successfully implement the agreed solution and is accountable for delivery quality.

- Work proactively with business, IT and supplier stakeholders across the world.

 

Job Requirements

- 5-10+ years’ experience of working within IT project delivery environment of which you worked 5 years as a Project Manager of complex infrastructure and international projects.

- Experience working with a wide range of internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure projects are successfully delivered.

- Knowledge of and demonstrated experience in project management processes and methodologies, including the project lifecycle, Prince2 or PMI, and within an Agile environment.

- A naturally positive attitude and an inclusive approach to building partnerships, well organized and self-motivated.

- Demonstrated leadership qualities such as conflict and issue resolution, with highly developed influencing skills.

- Team player, Innovative - can do approach, passion for digital innovation/transformation, Interest in the chemicals business a bonus.

- Strong communication skills comfortable with interactions with all levels of management.

- Flexibility in working globally.
