Regional Sales Manager

- Develops regional business strategy, formulates practical growth plans and tactics which includes products, technical & solution introduction and promotion, value-proposition and marketing. 

- Aligns with Regional marketing manager to develop & implement marketing strategy for target markets and applications. 

- Directs, coaches and develops the regional sales team on key accountment management, customer intimacy and new business development, ensure business management process is followed and budget is delivered.   

- Leverages and collaborates with RD&I, marketing and other functions to ensure projects result in alignment with BU product portfolio and targets. 

- Implements pricing strategy and frameworks for the region and executes regional tactical pricing exercises. 

- Develops and validates new product development propositions by means of business cases and regulatory changes. 

- Provides insights and directions on channel strategy for responsible market segments. 

- Leads and works with the cross teams to maintain effective relationships with established customers by providing added value solutions and after sales service. 

- Grows business with strategic accounts and align with Global key accounts strategy, and develops new business with regional key accounts. 

- Directs distributors management under Company’s policies and process 

- Leverages industrial or market shows and meetings to keep abreast with latest trend and status.   

- Maintains and revises the accuracy of the customers’ demand, frequent utilization on CRM, Arkieva and sales tool provided as part of the commercial excellence.  

- Required to travel in and beyond region (60% up) 

Job Requirements

- A university degree required: BA or BS degree, preferably in Chemistry, MBA or equivalent is preferred;

- More than 15 years chemical industry exposure among which at least 10 years of sales or marketing experience earned in sizable MNCs; familiar with specialty chemicals business model; Feeds and/or Agro industry background is preferred;

- Strong with valued based and solution selling;

- Asia pacific business management experience is preferred;

- Mature in business acumen, strategic thinking and influencing;

- A veteran of business management by leading a cross function team, working experience of leading a both sales and technical service team is preferred;

- Demonstrated strength in resilience, leading changes and working through complexity;

- Organized, good planning and prioritizing in multiple tasked settings;

- Self-driven, growth mindset and agile in learning
