Nouryon has an opportunity for a Supply Chain Specialist.


Manages and further improves the demand, supply planning and inventory management processes to meet customer demand at the desired service level and optimal cost.

- Supports the continuous improvement of the IBP process
- Supports building the Regional IBP decks, scorecard metrics and reports, as well as building the 7 Site feeder meetings and 13 Market feeder meetings
- Establish, measure, analyze, and report key process metrics and monitor business objective adherence to key performance indicators
- Develop reports, tools and statistical analysis that will assist management in identifying issues/risk and develop plans to mitigate.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to improve communication flow and effectiveness and reduce risk
- Establish, measure, analyze, and report key process metrics and monitor business objective adherence to key performance indicators
- Create delivery plans for customers and establish order forecast within planning tools
- Assist in developing internal sales plan
- Develop procurement plans with suppliers, including forecast demand towards suppliers
- Inventory management, including ABC Classification of parts and optimization of planning parameter
- Works with Supply Manager to mitigate bottleneck situations and supply issues
- Monitor and control customer performance metrics, including maintenance of customer portal
- Conduct supply chain processes audits
- Life cycle management of products – ensure proper management of ramp up and phase out of products
- Geography scope is for North America

Job Requirements


- Highly proficient in Excel formulas (knowledgeable in Vlookups, Concatenate, CountIf, Ifs, And, SumIfs, etc.) 
- Experience with ERPs (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage) and the implementation of ERP systems. 
- BS/BA, preferred in Logistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics or a related field 
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst, Logistics Coordinator or similar role 
- Experience in data mining, analysis, and reporting 
- Familiarity with supply chain processes (e.g. Inventory planning, warehouse management) 
- Working knowledge of MS Office, relational databases and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
