RTR Accounting Specialist

Responsibility

Accounting


- Globally responsible for the execution of reliable, timely and complete specialist accounting tasks and activities as recorded in the Global Process Design and Standard Operating Procedures

- Perform proactive reporting and resolution of unreconciled items, propose solutions, and conduct remediation related to intercompany accounts (current account only) for all Nouryon company codes

- Provide quality assurance on intercompany Balance Sheet (BS), Profit & Loss (P&L) and specifications

- Support month-end close activities and ensure that all the month end close dead-lines are met

- Responsible for monitoring IM related errors in intercompany flows (such as missing idocs)

- End responsible on clearing of intercompany suspense accounts, and reconciliation of intercompany positions – contact responsible department and follow through until resolution

- Provide input into and proactively manage adherence to governance policies, procedures, and processes related to intercompany

- Help if needed the IC accountant in executing transactional accounting activities such as: solving and analyzing intercompany mismatches , cross functional posting of FI invoices

- End responsible for the whole intercompany FI service invoice process

- Monitor applicable IT landscape (systems and associated processes) to identify issues and coordinate with CIM/IM team to propose resolution

- Monitor progress and errors for automated posting of good related intercompany invoices



Responsible for improvement initiatives and corporate guidelines adherence and development


- Conduct detailed process analysis to identify pain points and improvement opportunities

- Periodically conduct training and coach the organization to expand and develop talent

- Identify proactively IM related improvements

Work closely together with CIM/IM in case of improvement plans

- Education and Experience (Functional Technical Capabilities):
- High education in Accounting (Bachelor)

- 3-5 years of experience in operational accounting

- Good knowledge of accounting in ERP systems, preferably SAP

- Experienced in using Microsoft Office (especially excel)
