Key Objectives

  1.  Timely delivery of relevant and reliable financial reporting (accounting and management reporting)
  2. Planning and Control cycle on site level for costs, capex and variable costs (incl. variances), embed IBP cycle (SMR)
  3. Responsible for Project Control of all CROC investments
  4. Coordinates In Control and Risk management on site
  5. Help drive improvement programs across the ISC function and site in particular
  6. Manage Cost Accountant and Capex Accountant

 

Responsibilities:

 

  1. Timely delivery of relevant and reliable financial reporting (accounting and management reporting)
  • Ensures completeness and correctness of accounted goods flows (production and sales volumes versus inventory movements, matching of sales and production volumes for result accounting, assurance of variance accounts clearance)
  • Delivers substantiation of site relevant general ledger accounts
  • Responsible for follow-up of the internal audits performed by AUD and external financial audits.
  • Monitors bank payment process.
  • Control over BOM and costing
  • Control over Inventory (ageing SLOB analyses, cycle counts, booking)
  • Cycle counts Fixed assets
  • Cost center approver and owner; gatekeeper for site NPR spend
  • Key User SAP (if applicable) – providing first line support for other users as well as interact with IM in the development and maintenance of the system which may include projects, testing and continuous improvement
  1. Planning and Control cycle on site level for costs, capex and variable costs (incl. variances)
  • Presents and discusses operations cost and other KPI-financial performance in site MT (monthly)
  • Monthly analyses of actual versus forecasted(3MF) and budgeted operations cost of site, FMC and VMC productivities and other KPI levels. Reports this in monthly operations meeting of site with ISC management
  • Prepares and provides monthly reports for site management and ISC management on operational expenditure, capex and variable cost variances
  • Provide financial and economic analyses for investments, changes in personnel strength and the administrative organization.
  • Coordinates budget and rolling forecast process within site, provides input for meetings with ISC Management and delivers operational & cost information as
  • input for economic assessment of sBU strategies and KPI measurement purposes 
  1. Responsible for Project Control of all site investments
  • Coordinates the submission of Application requests (AR) from the SiteSecures that accounting of investments are in compliance with WebFEM
  • Capex budgeting and forecasting, monitor and control the spending
  • Participates as project controller site-related investment projects; reports and monitors progress and controls expenditures, updates SAP when projects are completed or altered and monitors expenditures progress during project realization (actual vs. budget)
  • Develops cases and challenges project managers on assumptions 
  1. Coordinates In Control and Risk management on site
  • Ensure effective and efficient internal control
  • Coordinates the local “In Control” activities on the basis of BU guidelines / instructions.
  • Performs self-assessment completion for selected cycles, based on instructions from BU In Control and Compliance Manager and participates in Business risk management sessions 
  1. Help drive improvement programs across the ISC function and site in particular
  • Act as local finance lead impacting Productivity such as Continuous improvement, ANT, ALPS, etc
  • Be a member or leader of the project teams within the ISC finance organization geared at standardizing and harmonizing the work processes and tools in the ISC finance organization

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor in Economics or similar;
  • Influencing skills – ability to work across functions and different levels in the organization
  • Experience with IFRS
  • Skilled in SAP
  • Understanding of SAP BW
  • Excel, power BI and other Microsoft Office programs
  • English (fluent).
