              1. Purpose/Key Objectives of the Job

Inorganic Specialties business is looking for an account manager locates in Shanghai or Guangzhou, who will responsible for customers in China to achieve business objectives. This role is to manage a portfolio of assigned clients and market segments, develop new business from existing and new accounts with execution of business plan and guidelines

2. . Responsibilities

  1. Manage both externally and internally for all commercial aspects of assigned customers with accountability to meet sales targets and client needs. This position will be mainly focused on customer of Foundry, Construction and some other application as allocated in China region upon the needs of business,
  2. Ensure timely and successful delivery of Nouryon Inorganic Specialties’ products, solutions and services according to customer needs and requirement,
  3. Build up and maintain strong customer relationship and intimacy,
  4. Identify, develop and evaluate new business opportunities at existing and new accounts, convert into new sales following business participation strategy in the assigned application, territory and market
  5. Monitor industry trends, market potentials, top market player movements, competitive intelligence, and feed back to the team
  6. Full implementation of business processes and sales tools on Forecasting, Pricing, Opportunities, Call Reports etc. by monthly basis
  7. Work collaboratively with peers and management to ensure individual and company sales targets and performance measures are achieved and team-based culture fostered
  8. Consistently adhere to and follow all Nouryon core value principles and business requirements and guidelines


  1. 3 + years sales experience in colloidal silica products or related industry, show good understanding of the technical knowledge for using colloidal silica in these areas, could understand the commercial and technical needs from customers and conduct the sales alone,
  1. Or 5 + years sales, marketing or technical experience for products in silicane Chemical or related industry, sophisticated in communicate with different level of customers, familiar with the sales network in these industries or related customers,
  1. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrates respect for colleagues as well as sales partners,
  1. Ability to assimilate commercial and technical information fast, quick leaner and easy adaptor for new environment,
  1. Strong communication and listening skills, customer orientated and focused on exceeding customer expectations,
  1. Demonstrated “can do” attitude, positive approach to problem solving,
  1. Passionate about working with people,
  1. Degree in Chemistry, Petro Chemical science, Coal Chemistry, or related engineering is preferred,
