Job Description:
  • Support, Country and the regional business, and if applicable coordinate with Asia sales efforts to maximize the business unit’s incoming business, cost effectively and consistent with the strategy and goals set. 

  • In support of the growth strategy in Mining segments, supports or conducts market share analysis, report and operation plans preparation.

  • Assure that distributors are fully trained and informed regarding products, and have access to adequate information and samples necessary to sell said products. Develop customer product and sales training programs to meet the informational needs related to our business plan objectives.

  • Continually monitor market to determine to extent possible market size and market penetration of company's products. Continually evaluate the timely adjustment of marketing strategy and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions.  

  • Supervise the technical development of account strategy, product introductions and approvals and implementation of these programs. Assist in conducting sales calls, negotiating contracts, claims and credit levels, developing competitive information and obtaining general information on the company with respect to its future plans.

  • Recommend and monitor new product opportunities for Research and Development. Oversee execution of product/market development through supervision of the product development staff from the sales marketing standpoint and assure continual cooperation and close relationship with Research and Development on projects. Assist in the translation of market needs into R&D projects. Establish and direct the implementation of all product line goals for sales volume, earnings and profitability, and return on assets.


Job requirements:

  • Education:  Bachelor in Chemical Engineer (master preferred)
  • Experience:  5~8 year technical sales and business development experience of chemicals in mining industry
  • Sound understanding of applications of Mining
  • Experience in direct contact with customers at commercial levels and distribution channel management
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural skills within a Matrix organsiation
  • Demonstrates strengths in Customer Focus, Innovation and Teamwork.
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic
  • Travel 50-60% domestic is required.
  • Good English skills in reading, writing and speaking.
