Key responsibilities:
- Identifying and improving master data quality and continuous improvement of business processes through master data
- Developing and implementing data quality validation logic and business rules
- Driving and guarding the standardization and harmonization of the master data fields, including the setup of the ownership of fields and the required data cleansing
- Creating and maintaining the documentation of the master data definitions and master data use
- Providing expert master data support to large projects involving master data elements
- Analyzing and approving MDM impact of Service Now change requests (cross functional + related to the MDM tooling)
- Training business stakeholders on the content and definition of master data fields and the impact on their operational processes
- Training MDM focal points on the content and definition of master data field, the impact on operational processes and the implemented validation logic in MDM process supporting tooling
- Communicating and implementing the MDM vision, strategy and roadmap for the relevant data domain
- Acting as a change agent and communicator for MDM, enabling continuous commitment for and awareness of MDM
- Being the point of contact for MDM Operations
- Being the IM touch-point, driving master data standardization, organizational and system alignment and improvements for the relevant data domain
Job Requirements:
- Is recognized as a credible business partner for cross-functional teams and across the different functions
- Strong communicator and change agent, foster communication and teamwork within and across organizational boundaries
- Post-Graduation in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, IT or equivalent work experience
- Ability to analyze, design and implement the need for MDM, both from system perspective as organizational perspective for the relevant data domain
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to understand change management and drive to resolution
- International mind-set – sensible for cultural differences
- Minimum 5 years overall experience with 2-3 years' experience in MDM related function
- Working experience in Nouryon, supporting MDM
- Experience in implementation of MDM processes
- Experience in interfacing with business operational customers
- Experience in MDM application systems development and implementation
- Experience in complex business environments
- Understanding of external factors influencing master data management such as competitors, regulatory requirements, best in class practices, etc.
- Leverages best in class examples, key expert / key stakeholder input to design the appropriate MDM foundation
- Leverages business understanding and its requirements in the design of the MDM project agreed end states/outcomes
- Project management experience preferred
- Available for moderate travel
