Nouryon is looking for you as an Account Manager (f/m/d) for our Paints & Coatings business in Germany, the Netherlands, and the Nordics. You will be working with various key accounts and big players across these regions within an international team, communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders, identify new markets and grow existing ones. What this positions entails

  • Define, develop and implement business strategy for key accounts in our Paints business
  • Increase volume and profitability
  • Deliver on the short- and long-term objectives
  • Deliver sales according to budget
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts
  • Identify business growth opportunities
  • Direct contact with customers in the field, representing Nouryon in a professional manner
  • Responsible from 79 sold-tos and 120 ship-tos within Germany, Netherlands, & Nordics 
  • High CM, loyal customers, identify growth potentials


What you should bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field
  • Excellent commercial, communication and interpersonal skills, influencing, entrepreneurship, result oriented, negotiation, problem solving, (project) management
  • Extensive sales/account management capabilities
  • Experience in different BUs/disciplines/regions
  • Demonstrate a strong customer focus and service minded working style
  • Flexible teamwork
  • MS Office skills, SAP
  • Excellent German & English language skills
  • Experience in Building & Construction and the Paint business
  • Willingness to travel min 50% of working time
