Regional Raw Material Planner
Fulltime, Deventer
Salary per month: EUR 4.450 – 6.800 before tax


Your challenge as a Regional Raw Material Manager
You are responsible for management and maintenance of the supply plan to determine the lowest/most efficient source of raw material supply to balance customer demand, production and logistics capacities to ensure purchase orders are fulfilled as required. You also will interact frequently with other functional colleagues and the business. You are part of a global organization where co-operation, interaction and knowledge-sharing are key.


Your challenges

•Supply plan
You have a primary responsibility for initiating and executing short- and medium-term supply optimization. Moreover, you develop and provide suppliers with weekly/monthly supply plan. Furthermore, you evaluate business opportunities with the help of optimization tools.

•Stakeholder Management
You provide support on corporate and commercial matters. You coordinate the execution of the supply plan with responsible Procurement Organization, effectively managing any exceptions with procurement forecasts.

•SAP master data
You provide support Maintenance of SAP master data (replenishment parameters and Planning rates) relevant for the supply and inventory planning process. You will be responsible for the process quality of SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) implementation within the management of change (MOC) procedures on all products by having a close partnership with Manufacturing.

•Business planning
You Provide input to the Supply Management Review (SMR) in developing forecasting strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs. As needed, you participate in the Demand Supply Review (DSR) to drive tactical implementation of the approved plans.

•Improvement Suggestions
You drive to improve planning/scheduling related activities in the plant, such as process change-over reduction, increased production efficiency and provision of real time information to the plant.

Have you got what it takes?
To be eligible for this challenging position, you have demonstrable capability to analyze data (including mass cross-reference data validation, trending and forecasting). Moreover, you like to drive change for supply chain and business process. We consider experience in the chemicals business as a bonus.


Next to this, you:
•Have preferably a Master’ degree in in Business, Mathematics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
•Highly proficient in MS Office packages (Excel, Access; SharePoint)
•Have very good English communication skills and you can communicate with all functional levels within the business.
•Preferably have experience with SAP (or equivalent ERP system), Business Warehouse (or equivalent data warehouse) or Arkieva (or equivalent advanced planning software).

As Regional Raw Material Planner you must take into account that your travel time is up to 10%.
