Job Description


This is a unique development opportunity for someone with a technical commercial background to join a specialty chemical company going through dynamic change.  This program will allow the candidate to advance their commercial career in the chemical industry.


Key Responsibilities


•  Support, develop & implement the Commercial Growth Accelerator/Commercial Excellence Learning & Development Program capabilities e.g. marketing learning opportunities, designing learning, delivering digital learning solutions

• Facilitate meetings, on-line courses and work with the business to take actions toward employee and business growth

• Participate on business projects – participate in Commercial Excellence projects, trainings or specific sessions with the businesses

• Identify business improvement opportunities within the areas of Commercial Growth Accelerator/Commercial Excellence, enabled by Digital Marketing & E-Commerce, CRM, Learning & Development

• Creates and improves repeatable learning approaches & analysis to help identify growth opportunities and support the business growth strategy and target areas for employee and business improvement

• Identify and report key issues and assist in developing action plans with the Commercial Growth People Managers

• Adapt and maintain tools related to Commercial Growth Accelerator/Commercial Excellence, Digital Marketing & E-Commerce, CRM and SuccessFactors

• Assist in the development, delivery and analysis of key performance indicators and competencies to support Commercial Growth Accelerator People Roadmap

Develop and deploy learning and development journeys aligned to a standardized competency framework (marketing, sales, customer service, etc.) to drive measurable outcomes around commercial development, productivity and customer success

Assist in building interactive proof-of-concepts to get feedback from stakeholders and end users to refine learning solutions



Job requirements


  • Excellent verbal and written & presentation skills
  • Communication skills to create learning opportunities and engagements, be able to present to peers and senior leaders
  • Proven project and program management skills with experience coordinating and implementing training programs (or similar work)
  • Skills in learning & development, management and creating key performance indicators
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerBI & PowerPoint and working with and understanding analytical tools
  • Experience in e-learning software platforms preferred
  • Experience of working in multi-disciplinary programs and teams, from start to implementation and   delivering results
  • Experience in marketing and sales
  • Knowledge of Articulate 360, SuccessFactors, PowerBI & CRM Microsoft Dynamics and other digital enabling tools is preferred
  • Willing and able to travel when required to support program delivery on site
  • Proven international orientation and cultural awareness
  • Genuine passion for adult learning and development a plus
  • English (fluent)



Education / Experiences preferred:


  • BS / BA – In Engineering, Business, or related Education
  • 2-5 years working experience
