Improve safety and reliability, ensure company and regulatory compliance, and optimize life-cycle costs for all Fixed Equipment assets.
Ensures fixed equipment records and inspection programs are well executed and maintained.
Work with team and plants to influence behaviors/decisions aligned with corporate/regional initiatives and direction.

Key Activities
Key activities are as follows:
? Champion and Implements Nouryon Fixed Equipment Standards/Guidelines
? Lead and coordinate the implementation of site corrosion management program
? Ensures all fixed equipment inspections meet company/regulatory requirements by their due date or have approved deferrals
o Ensure proper proactive equipment condition monitoring and protection inspection programs are covered through PMs.
o Performs or manages all inspections and nondestructive examinations, remaining life calculations, reporting, and necessary repair plans
o Evaluates inspection results and issues/tracks recommendations
o Escalates any findings with potentially significant health, safety, or environmental impact
? Owns and drives improvement of the OEE Fixed Equipment losses KPI and other significant Fixed Equipment KPIs (bad actor list)
? Work closely in a team atmosphere with various locations and functional roles in the routine and non-routine troubleshooting and repair of fixed equipment.
? Reviews and optimizes inspection & repair activities to maximize cost effectiveness without compromising safety and reliability
? Lead and/or support Root Cause Failure Analysis involving Fixed Equipment
? Provides input to the capital replacement long term planning process by reviewing the drawings, specifications and TBE of the new ordered fixed equipment
? Mentor and train mechanical engineers in Fixed Equipment

Bachelor's degree on Chemical Mechanical or above
Minimum of 6 years’ pressure vessel, tank and piping management experience in the chemical or refining industry.
Expertise with applicable local and national regulations, codes, standards (GB, TSG, ASME, API, etc.), practices and inspection techniques
Knowledge of metallurgy, damage mechanisms and welding program requirements
Technical expertise within Fixed Equipment
Inspection certifications to local/regional codes (pressure vessels, tanks, piping)
NDE certifications or working knowledge
Damage mechanisms and metallurgical familiarity
Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA)
Knowledgeable of regional/local fabrication/repair/inspection codes
Excellent written and oral communication skills (English as 2nd language preferred)
Microsoft Office Suite
Working knowledge of SAP
