Job Purpose
Provide leadership and Rotating Equipment expertise as the Nouryon Regional Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting all plants in APAC.
Deploy maintenance reliability processes & programs to improve the overall asset safety, integrity and reliability of rotating equipment.
Manage rotating reliability improvement capital projects as assigned
Responsibilities
Own and drive improvement of the OEE Rotating Equipment losses KPI and other significant Rotating Equipment KPIs
Develop/Maintain/Implement Rotating Equipment Standards/Guidelines
Deploy reliability management process (MRM) to drive site maturity level improvement
Provide technical support (remote or on-site) to solve Rotating Equipment problems by working closely with maintenance, inspection, operations, & process personnel
Perform remaining life analysis on Rotating equipment for continued operations
Lead and/or support Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCA) of major Rotating Equipment
Develop regional rotating bad actor list and support/assist in complex bad actor resolution
problems
Develop and deploy proper proactive equipment condition monitoring and protection programs (CBM) to drive predictive maintenance
Contribute to the regional yearly maintenance productivity target as measured in ANT
Support/review site maintenance and reliability annual plan development, track the progress ensuring defined asset PM strategies well implemented
Perform turnaround planning assessments and provide execution technical assistance as needed.
Audit plants’ rotating equipment in Regulatory, M&R Standards Compliance, or participate in other Nouryon teams as needed
Provide support of site asset capital plan development & review and approval
Perform technical Due Diligence as needed for potential M&A activities in region
Provide technical consulting during the capital project FEL process
Provide support for Major Capital Projects fabricated equipment selection and inspection to ensure reliability
Manage rotating reliability improvement capital projects as assigned Develop/Maintain/Implement training/best practices related to Rotating Equipment
Mentor and train plant engineers in Rotating Equipment
Requirement：
Minimum of 15 years of experience in maintenance and reliability and recognized as an industry SME on rotating equipment.
Damage mechanisms and material selection.
Specific capital project management on packaging line, centrifuge, chiller, compressor, agitator etc.
Significant experience with rotating equipment in chemicals industry.
Minimum of B.S. in Chemical Machinery
Six Sigma black belt certification desired but not required
