1. Purpose/Key Objectives of the Job
• As coordinator of Natural Resources labs to deal with the technical lab work request from Asia Pacific customers and assist line manager to ensure the daily safety and smooth operation of the China lab.
• Support sales team (APAC) to consolidate partnership with key accounts and distributors via offering technical training and technical solutions.
• Provide technical support to the key opportunities in CRM pipeline in the segment of Natural Fibers/Oilfield/Fuel &Lubes/Water Treatment/Mining/Other for Asia Pacific. Technical support includes but not limited to technical consulting, lab work, customer visit, plant trail assistance, on-site service, training, 3rd party collaborations, exhibition/seminars support, and product localization.
• Follow up the customer complaint by internal cross-functions/regions communication worldwide, and offer the report and relevant paper work to Account Managers as requested deadline.
• Prepare for the tech documentation/ certification / paperwork as AMs require, to be the coordinator/interface between sales team and global cross functions of PSRA, quality, technical marketing, RD&I, etc.
2. Responsibilities
- Handle the technical service lab work request from customers/distributors in Asia Pacific per requested timeline, and co-ordinate the resources across regions.
- Assist Account Managers in APAC to strengthen the partnership with key accounts/distributors by providing technical support via emails/phone calls, joint visit/ contact, technical seminar, joint project and etc
- Provide technical support to the key opportunities in CRM pipeline in the segment of Pulp&Paper/Oilfield/Fuel&Lubes/Water Treatment/Mining/Textile/Other for Asia Pacific. Technical support includes but not limited to technical consulting, lab work, customer visit, plant trail assistance, on-site service, training, 3rd party collaborations, exhibition/seminars support, and product localization.
- Act upon complaints on products quality and provide test report to customer within agreed time, upon technical request or complaint.
- Deliver training to customers/distributors on the use and application of the products
- Assist line manger to operate Natural Resources China lab on daily basis
- Be present and participate industrial technical conference and seminar to make presentations/customer communications/ market information collections, as support to commercial team in technical perspective
- Partially responsible for assigned internal and external key projects to meet the request from market or customers

Job Requirements
- Education: PhD degree in material science or chemistry and chemical engineering
- Experience: at least 5 year technical support experience in Pulp &Paper, Oilfield, Fuel&Lubricants, Textile, Mining, or Electronics. Experienced with business development projects are preferred.
- Background: solid technical knowledge in products of Alkoxylates, Amines Surfactants, or Polymers
- Good interpersonal and cross-cultural skills within a matrix organization
- Good commercial sense when conducting technical communications
- Good English skills in reading, writing and speaking.
