Sales Manager Europe
Fulltime, Amersfoort, the Netherlands

Your challenges

In this role, you are responsible for the definition and execution of sales and development strategies: for the sales plans and volumes, quotations and long-term relations for your specific area/accounts. Thus, you make an important contribution to Delamine's long- and short-term marketing and sales objectives. At all times you remain up-to-date with all market information and developments.

Further accountabilities include:

  • Frequent visits to (potential) customers, individually or with the Director Marketing & Sales and/or Agents and/or distributors
  • Providing market analysis upon request
  • Monthly reporting
  • Representing Delamine at Chemical fairs and exhibitions
  • Monitoring customer payments
  • The commercial handling and settlement of complaints.
  • Initiating technical support to customers
  • Member of the Delamine IT Team for Sales and Marketing.

About Delamine

Founded in 1976, Delamine B.V. is a joint venture between Nouryon and Tosoh. We are a globally operating chemical company head-quartered in Amersfoort in the Netherlands. We develop, produce and sell Ethyleneamines which are used to manufacture a wide range of products such as washing detergents, paper chemicals, coatings, oil drilling chemicals, pharmaceuticals and many others. In Amersfoort, our general management, accounting, marketing and sales are located. Delamine has a manufacturing facility in the north of the Netherlands, in Delfzijl.

Have you got what it takes?

To be eligible for this position you bring 3 to 5 years of commercial experience in a Business to Business environment, preferably the Chemical industry.

Next to this, you:

  • Have a Bachelor or Master diploma in Chemical Engineering or Business Administration/ Economics.
  • Are customer focused and results oriented
  • Are a flexible team player with good social skills
  • Are highly effective with stakeholder management and have the capability to build strong relationships
  • Are fluent in English, both verbal and in writing, and proficient in German
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have experience of working with Excel, Power Point
