Your challenge as a Warehouse Control Tower Specialist
The Warehouse Control Tower Specialist is responsible for executing daily shipping / site logistics activities in SAP for external warehouses without direct SAP link, as well as supervising and supporting these activities for external warehouses that have a direct link. You will be assigned responsibility for a group of external warehouses within the region, with the specific number determined by geography proximity, shipment count, business complexity & special attributes, and individual experience/capability. The Warehouse Control Tower Specialist represents Nouryon at the external warehouses, and external warehouses within Nouryon with the common goal of improving the outplant network performance and contribution to Nouryons growth. As a Warehouse Control Tower Specialist, you will interact frequently with other functional colleagues and the business. You are part of a global organization where co-operation, interaction and knowledge-sharing are key. 
Responsibilities:


SAP Master data
You are responsible for the operational execution of site logistics activities in SAP, to ensure supply reliability of external warehouses. This entails monitoring site logistics activities in SAP for SAP-direct external warehouses and monitoring and execution for non-SAP direct external warehouses; including picking instructions, creating transport and export documents for external warehouses and booking Good Issue (GI)/ Good Receip (GR), process Certificate of Analysis (COA’s). Furthermore you monitor and control inbound and outbound order flow for SAP direct external warehouses. 


Supply chain
You are responsible for daily operational supply chain matters related to assigned external warehouses on order level:
•Monitoring and executing of the inbound and outbound flows, repacking and relabeling operations.
•Handling Deliveries in SAP, i.e. picking, document creation
•Monitoring and booking stock adjustment, i.e. blocked or damaged stock.
•Leading or participating daily operational calls with external warehouses and internal stakeholders to ensure planned orders are shipped. Moreover, you identify and resolve issues swiftly.
•Archiving shipping documents received from external warehouses.
•Invoice validation and cost approval.

 

Improvements
•Updating global outplant database & facility details.
•Participating (large external warehouses) or leading (small external warehouses) in periodic vendor performance reviews. Moreover you participate (large external warehouses) or lead (small external warehouses) in outplant inventory controls (execution of annual stock count or cycle counts). 
•Finally, you identify frequency and cause of service failures and participate in efforts to identify and implements solutions.

Have you got what it takes?
To be eligible for this challenging position, you have at least 3 years of experience in warehousing / supply chain. Moreover you have demonstrable capability to analyze data. We consider experience in the chemicals business as a bonus. Next to this, you:


    
•Have preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related discipline.
•Have demonstrated knowledge in performing warehousing and site shipping activities.
•Strong working knowledge and history of using computers and programs specific to logistics (SAP, TMS, WMS) and to general business management (MS Excel, Word).
•Own competences such as: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and quickly develop a solution, ability to support process improvement initiatives while balancing daily responsibilities, self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision and finally strong analytical skills. 
•Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with various levels and functions within the organization, including global team members and third parties. You have very good English communication skills and you can communicate with all functional levels within the business. Knowledge of Spanish and Swedish is considered an extra.

 

As you must take into account that your travel time is up to 15 %.
