Account Manager Distribution
Fulltime, Amersfoort
Monthly salary before tax: €4.450 - €6.800

 

Your challenge as Account Manager Distribution 
In this role you deliver the short- and long-term Distribution strategy for Home & Personal Care EMEA.  Moreover you set up KPI’s for all Distributors and ensure for proper communication. You also assess on a regular basis all Distributors in Cleaning, Personal Care (and Pharma). Furthermore you will look for synergies between different regions and segment distribution channels and try to consolidate distribution channels to ensure growth in assigned territories.  In line with the Sales team and Marketing you set up a yearly Distribution plan. Key responsibilities: 


•You assess an understand the market needs, development and trends, solutions, products, competition in Personal Care, Pharma and Cleaning segments. You lead and implement regional Distribution strategy and coordinate contract negotiations. Furthermore you ensure that compliance needs are fulfilled according to Nouryon Compliance guidelines.
•You make sure contracts are up to date.  Therefore you will work with the Account Manager team and legal on renewals, new contracts and amendments. 
•You set up yearly Key Performance Indicators for all distributors. Moreover you are responsible for regular assessment of all distributors and follow through Performance improvement plan in case distributor(s) fail growth aspirations. You are also involved in the yearly budget setting for all distributors. Therefore you report progress on a quarterly basis. 
•You identify new distribution channels and you will lead interview sessions. You are in the lead of onboarding (and exiting) new distributors, using Nouryon’s distribution tools and processes. 
•You will take part in commercial excellence projects around distribution and help on aligning prices.

Have you got what it takes?
You have good interpersonal skills and a strong drive for taking initiatives. Moreover, you have senior level connections in the Personal Care and Cleaning market. You also take ownership of the business and have strong negotiations skills. Furthermore you are result oriented and you have a customer focus. Next to this you have

 

•Bachelor or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering or Biology.
•At least 5 years Sales & Marketing experience in Personal Care and Cleaning industry. Preferably work experience at a distribution company with experience managing distributors. 
•Experience with using commercial tools like CRM.  
•Strong Financial and Business acumen. 
•Willingness to travel in the EMEA region (approximately 20-30%).
