We are actively seeking a dynamic, human resources professional to join our team in Texas as a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP). In this role, you will provide HR expertise to multiple sites on organizational capability and design to deliver business strategy and lead pro-active HR support to the business to realize future strategies and plans. In addition, you will partner with the regional organization, centers of expertise and service providers to ensure effective and efficient delivery of HR services to the sites.

What you’ll do:
- Act as strategic HR Business Partner for approximately 80 associates in a union environment
- Coach and collaborate with leadership to resolve business challenges
- Advise managers regarding compliance with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws
- Coach and partner with employees, leadership, and management teams on a day-to-day basis to embed a high-performance culture, focusing on leadership and driving accountability
- Handle activities in areas of responsibility including performance and talent management, succession planning, staffing including hiring, on-boarding, and terminations
- Provide guidance and/or develop input on operational workforce planning and organization capability
- Deliver HR policies, processes and practices focusing on continuous improvement and improved execution
- Drive code of conduct compliance and facilitate relevant employee relations trainings
- Lead and manage defined projects focused on: Engagement, implementing cultural and organizational change, specialty chemicals values and behaviors, talent management processes
Education & experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or eight (8) years of relevant experience
- 5+ years generalist experience
- Experience in a union environment required
- Chemical plant/hazardous site experience preferred
Knowledge, skills & abilities:
- Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, presentation, analytical skills, and project management
- Ability to work in a matrix environment, building effective relationships with management and functions in a multi-cultural environment
- Knowledge of SuccessFactors HRIS and ADP payroll preferred
- Knowledge of multiple human resources disciplines including engagement, employee relations, labor relations, compensation, organizational design, workforce planning, career development and training, performance management and employee engagement
