Purpose/Key Objectives of the Job
- Manage Sales to medium and small customers in target segments/markets
- Deliver sales according to budget
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and update Arkieva and CRM with business information
- Identify and develop business growth opportunities for assigned customer/prospects
- Display a growth mindset and hunter mentality when pursuing new opportunities
- Represent Nouryon in a professional manner
- Provides market intelligence feedback to sales and marketing on market environment and competitor activity
Responsibilities
- Manage Sales to medium and small customers
- Deliver sales according to budget
- Develop, manage, and ensure realization of sales for the assigned accounts
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and update Arkieva and CRM with business information
- Handle opportunities for new business for small medium size opportunities
- Establish and build relationships with key decision makers and buyers
- Negotiate commercial terms assigned accounts
- Serve as the central resource for communications with the customer on new product developments in the Nouryon portfolio
- Provides market intelligence feedback to sales and marketing organization on market environment and competitor activity
- Utilize CRM to handle customer complaints and inform Technical Sales Manager
- Represent Nouryon in a professional manner
- Provide insights regarding quantitively and qualitative developments by periodical reports
Requirements
- Bachelor´s degree or equivalent
- Chemical industry sales, application, and customer process related knowledge
- Sales experience from B2B in chemical industry >2 years
- Ability to comprehend market and competition landscape
- Collaborative cross-functional team player
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both oral and in writing
- Excellent knowledge in English, both oral and in writing
