The Role
Nouryon Home and Personal Care is looking for an experienced individual to fill the Surfactants Product Manager position.  Successful execution of this role requires thorough understanding of our product portfolio, our footprint &  regulatory landscape, and our supply chain, while using business acumen to catalyze sales and EBITDA growth.
This is an exciting opportunity for you if you have a proven track record in marketing, account management, or business development.  In this role, you drive value creation and you will be responsible by leading new product introductions, new registrations investment decisions for biocides, advocating Supply for HPC with asset owners and pricing management.

The preferred locations for the role are Rotkreuz, Switzerland or USA (Chicago IL, Radnor PA, Houston TX)



Your responsibilities

  • Active member of the Global Product Management team
  • Define the products strategy for the surfactants product portfolio
  • Set floor prices for surfactants product portfolio within Home & Personal Care
  • Manage product allocations in period of demand greater than supply
  • Identify internal and external options to augment supply chain
  • Develop a value chain analysis and set a participation strategy
  • Set regulatory priorities and approve investment decisions for registrations and data generation for biocides
  • Manage relationship with supplying Product Line within Nouryon
  • Partner with supply chain to ensure reliable supply, asset capacity, and appropriate inventory
  • Keep current with market trends, competition, and regulatory trends
  • Find channels to market to position existing biocide products
  • Ensure selling tools are up to date and available
  • Identify new customer needs and provide input for new product development
  • Provide monthly reviews on new business development

Job Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Business is required
  • An MBA or Master’s education is preferred
  • Experience in biocides strongly preferred
  • 5 years of relevant Commercial, Marketing, or Product Management experience 
  • Experience in Sales preferred
  • Written and spoken fluency in English required
  • You feel comfortable in working across global cultures
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, listening, writing, verbal, influencing, entrepreneurship, result oriented, negotiation, proven problem-solving abilities and strong business acumen
  • Project management capabilities and skills
