The Procurement team is seeking a Market Insights Analyst to provide crucial information to help support procurement decisions of Raw Materials for the organization.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the global category manager with data driven procurement decisions of raw materials
- Conduct Market Research to track market drivers (Macro and Micro drivers) to understand how that will impact the spend.
- Provide market insights to others within the Procurement group
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field, Master’s Degree is preferred
- One (1) to Three (3) years of experience in a market analysis/market intelligence/Supply Chain department.
- Knowledge of the Petro Chemical Industry is preferred\
- Analytical thinker, taking structured and non-structured data and present meaningful data.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to relay intel to individuals at all levels of the organization
- Strong computer skills, specifically in MS Office. R Programming and experience within SAP an asset
