About the job
This role is responsible for customers majority in south China to achieve business objectives and growth, with the market focus in I&I and household. The account manager needs to manage a portfolio of assigned clients and market segments, develop new business from existing and new accounts with execution of business plan and guidelines.
In your future role as “ Account Manager” you will
- Main responsibility is to develop and grow household and I&I cleaning business in south China on top of existing business.
- Proactively in market development, alignment with management for development plan including customer segmentation/target, pricing guideline, etc, followed by strong execution actions.
- Need strong channel management, new business development skill set and mindset, especially during changing and challenging situation. Plus, have selected key account management in respect territory with certain complexity.
- Manage both externally and internally for all commercial aspects of assigned customers with accountability to meet sales targets and customer needs.
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of Nouryon HPC solutions and services according to customer needs and requirements.
- Build up and maintain strong customer relationship and intimacy in key accounts
- Monitor industry trends, market potentials, top market player movements, competitive intelligence, and feedback to the team
- Full implementation of business processes and sales tools on Forecasting, Pricing, Opportunities, Call Reports etc by monthly basis
- Work collaboratively with peers and management to ensure individual and company sales targets and performance measures are achieved and team-based culture fostered
- Consistently adhere to and follow all Nouryon core value principles and business requirements and guidelines
We believe you bring
- 5-8 years commercial experience in B2B chemical business
- Able to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrates respect for people
- Ability to assimilate commercial and technical information fast
- Strong communication and listening skills that are customer orientated and focused on exceeding customer expectations
- Demonstrated “can do” attitude, positive approach to problem solving
- Passionate about working with people
Great if you have
- Degree in Chemistry, Polymer science, engineering
- Previous commercial experience within Home Care Industry
