About the job

In this exceptionally exiting position, you as our Global Technology Manager will have the responsibility to secure Technology Leadership and deliver a growth plan for the Hydrogen Peroxide (HP) technology. You will lead and direct a global technology team of process specialists and actively work to fulfill the targets with resources in the group, by cooperation with R&D and our production plants globally. Furthermore, you will propose strategies and targets for the Hydrogen Peroxide technology, participate in the management team for Renewable Fibers R&D and Technology, as well as in steering teams with Production, Marketing, Engineering and R&D, to influence the strategic directions. 
 

In your future role as Global Technology Manager, you will;

• Manage a team supporting our technologies with the objective to implement best practice in all production plants, resulting in more sustainable and cost-efficient processes.
• Have strong collaboration with production plants and other departments such as R&D, Marketing, Engineering, Asset Management etc.
• Prepare budget and control costs within the scope of budget.
• Prioritize projects, assignments etc. and report to the Vice President Renewable Fibers R&D and Technology. 
• Participate in and play a key role in the RF R&D and Technology management team. 
• Manage and operate in a way to support the culture defined in our Vision and Mission and maintain a professional, motivated, well-trained work force.
• Maintain a high sensitivity for worker safety, quality targets and regulatory compliance. 
• Follow the scientific and industrial development to acquire new knowledge, new ideas, identify threats and actively support innovation.
• Collaborate across technology departments within Nouryon to secure sharing of best practices.

 
We believe you bring

• Master of Science in Chemical engineering or similar. 
• Strong leadership experience from a global organization and team set up. 
• Deep experience from management positions in Technology, Production, PQC or similar. 
• Experience and demonstrated skills in managing complex multinational organizations and projects.
• Fluent in English

 
Great if you have 

• Capabilities in the organic chemistry and or pulp bleaching area
• Experience in digitalization and operational excellence tools (e.g. 6 Sigma)
