Global Procurement Contract and Risk Manager

About the job

A newly created position within the global procurement organization. The individual will be mainly involved in high level contracts; value of 10 million EUR +. You will support the Global Category Managers as well as VPs for the segments Direct, Indirect, Logistics and Energy.

In your future role as Global Procurement Contract and Risk Manager you will

• Provide contracting support to the Nouryon global procurement team including, but not limited to, helping in drafting clauses, firsthand involvement in selective high value contracts and the review of a variety of commercial and other procurement agreements consistent with established Nouryon legal templates and processes.
• Manage contracting tools and the contract intake processes.
• Coordinate with legal to maintain procurement contract templates and provide training to colleagues within the procurement team.

We believe you bring

• Strong academic credentials, potential areas of study include business or law, or engineering.
• 5-7+ years relevant working experience, with global multinational business or commercial or procurement having worked on legal contracts in close coordination with legal counsels.
• Extensive experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements and other legal documents.
