Nouryon - has an outstanding opportunity for an Office365 Expert/Digital Workplace Coach in Radnor, PA.


The Office365 Expert/Digital Workplace is the combination of all digital tools, devices and applications – including Office365, meeting rooms, etc. – that enable our employees to collaborate, connect and communicate.

The Digital Workplace Coach (DWC) is responsible for:

Executing the Digital Workplace adoption strategy for Nouryon

Demonstrating the Digital Workplace tools and new developments to end users

Ensuring the right learning & support materials, skills and capabilities are available for intra net site owners, local IT and end users to drive sustainable adoption

Developing training, train – and provide hands-on support to Intranet site owners

Gathering and monitoring end user feedback e.g. via face-to-face contacts, group meetings, Yammer

The DWC activities enable employees to become more productive and increase efficiency by experiencing how to make optimal use of the Digital Workplace tools.

1.            Coaching – help end users to understand how to use of the Digital Workplace as designed

a.            Together with PSOs assess Digital Workplace training needs, develop required training curriculum, develop training materials and prepare/deliver/follow-up training to end users

b.            Provide end users with guidance e.g. tips and tricks on the usage of the Digital Workplace

c.             Train and support PSOs to support end users in the use of the Digital Workplace

d.            Execute the Digital Workplace adoption plans and planning

e.            Create Digital Workplace action plans for key stakeholders such as Site Owners and Productivity Support Officers (PSOs)

f.             Answer questions from Site Owners, end users and PSOs related to the functioning, usage and development of the Digital Workplace

Results: Site Owners and end users are capable to use the Digital Workplace tools, PSOs are able to support end users and Site Owners


2.            Embedding – ensure the Digital Workplace contributes to the productivity of the Nouryon organization by ensuring end users understand the value of working with the Digital Workplace

a.            Build adoption capabilities: support, advise and guide the productivity support team to proactively drive adoption

b.            Develop close working relationship with PSOs and other peers for delivery of the adoption campaigns, to ensure best practices are shared

c.             Develop and execute Digital Workplace adoption campaigns, e.g. develop and provide trainings, create and send out communication materials such as awareness video’s, Yammer posts, news articles, etc.

d.            Monitor scope, timing & budget of adoption activities

Results: the Digital Workplace is adopted in the Nouryon organization and supported by stakeholders


3.            Improvement – collect user feedback and use it as input for the Digital Workplace roadmap and to improve the Digital Workplace adoption campaign

a.            Gather and monitor end user feedback on the Digital Workplace (e.g. through focus group feedback sessions)

b.            Identify and prioritize improvements for both the Digital Workplace tools and the Digital Workplace adoption campaign

c.             Co-develop roadmap requirements in collaboration with the Digital Workplace Product Owner and Solution Architect

d.            Deliver input for the Digital Workplace roadmap to the Digital Workplace Product Owner and Solution Architect

e.            Measure Digital Workplace adoption progress through the collected feedback over time/measure adoption KPIs

Results: gather Digital Workplace insights and continuously improve the Digital Workplace roadmap and DW adoption activities based on the needs of the end users


4.Support – Provide hands-on support to user (groups) and Site Owners to improve the end user experience

a.            Meet with user groups and Site Owners to discuss and answer their questions and improve the Digital Work Place and their sites and site structures

b.            Provide hands-on support to user groups and Site Owners to help them solve their issues

c.             Coordinate/create/edit relevant site content

d.            Cooperate with the support teams (suppliers) for the Digital Workplace tools concerning new developments

Results: Uswer groups and Site Owners feel supported and know where to go for help with their usability issues and sites, continuously increasing the end user experience


5.            (Change) focal point – serve as focal point for IM projects and changes for Digital Workplace related activities

a.            Communicate about Digital Workplace related changes or important user messages

b.            Manage adoption and communication channels and media

c.             Communicate about roadmaps, success stories, case studies, etc.

d.            Contribute to/participate in Digital Workplace roll-out/implementation projects


  • Bachelor degree in business management, communications, business informatics or a related field of study
  • Experience with stakeholder analysis and engagement, communication plan & delivery and training design & delivery
  • Demonstrable IT project execution and delivery experience with focus on change management and adoption
  • Broad and deep knowledge and experience with relevant digital collaboration and productivity tools in particular O365, SharePoint, Yammer, Skype, OneDrive
  • Experienced in providing advice regarding change and adoption projects

  • Proactive attitude regarding problem solving using knowledge, experience and analysis of available information
  • Ability to balance the long-term (or “big-picture”) and short-term implications of individual decisions
  • Ability to see the full picture (“helicopter view”) as well as being able to focus on necessary details
  • Good verbal and written English language skills.
  • Able to communicate clearly through a variety of media
