Senior account manager
The purpose of this role is to assure that a profitable business is maintained and developed with defined key accounts
This includes managing day-to-day operation to fulfill the budget for the defined key accounts.
Prepare a budget and forecast to be approved by sales manager aligned with regional and segment financial targets
Drive Sales and Profitability of Assigned account and deliver short and long term financial and strategic goals
Provide accurate forecasts by material and report results monthly to the sales manager
Maintain and develop business relationships with dedicated customers.
Develop a pipeline of growth opportunities to fulfill short- and long-term objectives reported via CRM.
Negotiate contracts and agreements as needed
Follow up payment terms, rebate agreements and overdue.
Keep track of the market/competitors
Set prices (between target and minimum) and commercial terms aligned with business
Propose development activities for the region that are in agreement with budget and regional strategy and global account strategies
•Bachelors or Masters in a relevant field (Technical degree in chemistry, Biology or formulation science) Masters preferred
•>10-15 years of experience in sales, with demonstrated relationships and ability to translate and leverage the knowledge and relationship into opportunity development and sales growth.
•Strong Communication Skills, and ability to develop and present relevant material to internal and external audiences
•Ability to deploy sales tracking tools
•Experience of working in/with other cultures
•Ability to lead and develop co-workers
