About the vacancy
In this part-time role (28/32 hours per week) you will support the Accounting Manager in our office location in Amersfoort. You will play a vital role in ensuring our financial processes run smoothly and efficiently. Your key responsibilities will include supporting the Accounting Manager by ensuring the accurate, reliable, and timely registration, processing, and periodic reporting of business and financial data. You will maintain an efficient Accounts Receivable administration by providing all active customers with up-to-date credit limit information and monitoring individual payment behavior. Handling incoming and outgoing payments to ensure up to date Accounts Receivable information off customers is crucial. Additionally, you will assist and provide backup to other Accounting employees to ensure the department functions seamlessly.
In your future role as Accounting Specialist
- Daily credit check.
- Ensure credit limit per active customer in the system is sufficient.
- Apply for Credit Insurance Assessment of Business reports.
- Provide all active customers with sufficient credit limit/credit insurance.
- Dunning-run.
- Send out dunning letters once a week to overdue customers.
- Inform Sales Managers of overdue situation customers.
- Send weekly reports to all sales managers with overdue information so they can contact customers to pay on time.
- DC Documents.
- Process DC documents within 24 hours.
- Satisfied relationship with customers.
- Act as the focal point for customers.
- Posted incoming and outgoing payments on different bank accounts.
- Daily processing of all records of all the bank statements and manage clearing of all related Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables accounts.
- Execute Senior Accounting Assistant activities during his/her absence.
- Assist Accounting Manager in monthly closing activities.

- A Bachelor degree within finance or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience in similar role.
- Experience with Credit Control, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger.

You will have the chance to work with various international stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Our employment package comprises:
· A permanent contract with a probationary period of 2 months.
· A gross basic annual salary including holiday allowance based on your knowledge and experience between EUR 40,500 and EUR 55.600 (based on fulltime) .
· 23 vacation days + 12 leave days
· year-end bonus (roughly a month)
