Lilaflot D 817M etherdiamine functions as a collector for mineral flotation, preferably for flotation of silicates and quarts from iron ores. It enables maximized selective recovery and grade of silica minerals from magnetite iron ore, even complex and coarse silicates in saline water matrix.

    Lilaflot D 817M product is not soluble but dispersible in water and is compatible with cationic or nonionic flotation agents and commonly used modifying agents. This product is chemically stable in normal beneficiation conditions. Lilaflot D 817M product can be added as such or as a stock solution. Stock solution can be prepared, 5% solution in water is recommended. To prepare 5% water solution mix 95w-% water and 5w-% Lilaflot D 817M. Preparation: mix 95 parts (by weight) water with 5 parts Lilaflot D817M at temperature min 10°C with good agitation. Agitation continues until a homogeneous solution is obtained. It is recommended to continue agitation to ensure homogeneity.
