Scale inhibitor component of combination products which use methanol as the mutual solvent i.e corrosion and hydrate inhibitors, demulsifiers. Scale inhibitor may be used for precipitation squeezing using a suitable dication formulation. Methanol soluble scale inhibitor, superior barium sulfate inhibition, biodegradable.
