Trigonox® 36-W50 can be applied as an initiator for the suspension polymerization of vinyl chloride in the temperature range between 50°C and 70°C. Reasons to use a water-based peroxide emultion instead of a solvent-based peroxide are the following: enhanced safety, easy to use (pumpable) in ‘closed reactor technogoly’, easy to dilute with water.
