Reliability & Mechanical Integrity Engineer

The chief role of the Reliability & MI Engineer is to structurally improve asset reliability throughout the region by leveraging own skills and skills of site maintenance and reliability engineers to improve the equipment reliability at the different operating sites in the Americas region.

In your future role as Reliability & Mechanical Integrity Engineer you will

 

Design:

  • Participate in and take a leading role in the design of reliability methods & tools.
  • Participate in the Reliability software selection team.

Deployment:

  • Support the M&R-Excellence team by providing expertise on reliability methods & tools.
  • Asses the current state at selected sites and develop and agree with site a deployment/improvement plan for the appropriate reliability methods and tools.
  • Monitor progress on implementation and use of methods and tools. Where necessary, coach M&R Engineers on proper use and how to generate value with methods & tools.

Execution:

  • Be responsible for setting up & maintaining a regional network of Maintenance & Reliability Engineers. With the purpose to drive value by exchanging and utilizing good practices, lessons learned, and solutions developed between different sites.
  • Be responsible for coordinating deployment of skilled maintenance & reliability engineers from sites and Asset Integrity-Excellence team according to business needs.
  • Be responsible for executing reliability analyses requiring deep expertise not generally available.

 

 

We believe you bring

 

  • Minimum of BS degree in engineering (preferably mechanical), or similar discipline
  • Extensive & hands-on experience in Reliability management & improvement, especially on static equipment, such as pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and pipelines.
  • Proven track record in realizing substantial and sustainable performance improvement in equipment reliability.
  • In depth knowledge and experience with state-of-the-art reliability methods and tools (NDT/NDE, inspection techniques, RBI, RCM techniques, predictive condition based, RCA, EQ criticality and FMEAs, etc)
  • Experience in continuous improvement tools such as failure analysis, root cause analysis, FMEAs, Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies and tools.

 

 

 

Compensation Information

The hiring salary range for this position ranges from $117,800 to $168,300, although individuals may eventually progress through the pay scale in this role up to $218,800. Actual compensation will be dependent upon the specific role as well as the individuals’ qualifications, experience, skills, and certifications. Hired applicant will be eligible to receive annual bonuses.

Employees (and their families) will be eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are also eligible to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive paid time off and the mandated company holidays throughout the calendar year.
