Imparts pseudoplastic flow characteristics. Efficient in lower solids latex and pigmented systems. Thickening above pH 7Use levels of 0.2 - 1% Alcogum® L 581 is typically used at levels 0.2-1.0 % (dry)based on total formulation weight.

Alcogum® L 58 is a hydrophobically modified akali swellable emulsion. Alcoguard® 5800 improves flow and rheology of formulated coatings, is easy to handle and supplied as a low viscosity emulsion. It shows synergistic thickening with anionic and nonionic surfactants. Thickens formulations above pH 7. Recommended use levels of 0.2-1.0%.
