Trigonox® 82 is a methyl ethyl ketone peroxide formulation for the curing of unsaturated polyester resins in the presence of a cobalt accelerator at room and elevated temperatures. Trigonox® 82 has in comparison with Butanox M 50 a longer gel time, a slower speed of cure and lower Peak Exotherm. Trigonox® 82 is very suitable for the production and cure of thick laminates (≤ 20 mm) in one operation and for those applications where a high Peak Exotherm should be avoided.
