Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for daily manufacturing operations and ensuring the safe completion of production tasks.

In your future role as Production Supervisor you will be:  

  • Responsible for the direct supervision of hourly personnel to meet production and scheduling requirements:
    • Supervise and direct plant personnel to meet production requirements.
    • Set expectations for crew and hold accountable.
    • Provide technical support for new and existing processes. Solve problems related to raw materials, equipment, and scheduling.
    • Initiate and assist in projects that improve yield and right first time and reduce cycle-time and scrap generation.
    • Assist in asset utilization and OEE improvements.
    • Training of hourly employees.
    • Batch sheet confirmation and good receipts in SAP.
    • Participate on project, operational, and/or cross-functional teams as required to support the business plan.
    • Provide information for production scheduling and inventory control including cycle counts.
    • Develop standard operating procedures and work instructions.
    • Enter work notifications and maintenance requests as required.
  • Responsible for HSES activities within the Operations Group:
    • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
    • Responsible for safety training of plant personnel and adherence to appropriate standards and policies.
    • Focus efforts of plant personnel on behavior-based safety activities to eliminate injuries.
    • Promote good housekeeping standards in the plant.
    • Participate as needed in injury and incident investigations.
    • Function as the Emergency Response Coordinator for the plant as needed.
    • Work closely with HSES Manager to maintain environmental controls, Industrial Hygiene, and employee health.
    • Participate in HSES activities directed by management/supervision or as indicated in the HSES Annual Site Plan
    • Team members should operate under any applicable Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) when performing functions within their role.


We believe you bring 

  • HS diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • MS Office skills and SAP preferred
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time effectively 


Good to know

This is a manufacturing environment. You must be able to work 12 hour, day and night rotating shift.
