In March 2022, the Nouryon Asa site received the Prefectural Governor's Award from the local ministry. The award recognizes the company’s proactive approach and remarkable achievements in enhancing the local firefighting and disaster prevention system as the Volunteer Fire Corps.

Nouryon has been awarded a score of A- in the global CDP Climate Change category, in recognition of the Company’s progress in implementing current best practices in sustainability targets, value chain engagement, and opportunity disclosures. The A- score places the Company at the leadership level, above the chemical industry average score of B. This marks the third consecutive year Nouryon has engaged with CDP.
