Crosslinking polymers with organic peroxides, also referred to as vulcanization/curing, is a process to improve the properties of plastics and rubbers. Check out this educational video-animation and see how the crosllinking process works

We offer a wide variety of organic peroxides which are used to crosslink plastics and rubber for high quality end products, ranging from automotive parts, hoses, footwear and power cables.

We also offer a range of specialty rubber additives such as Ketjenblack® electroconductive carbon blacks and Armowax® processing aid.

PEX-a pipes and tubes

When producing polyethylene (PE) pipes and tubes, high density polyethylene (HDPE) is the most frequently used finished polymer. We supply a variety of organic peroxides for the crosslinking of PEX-a pipes and tubes, including Trigonox® B, Trigonox® 145-E85, Trigonox® 301 and Trigonox® 311 products.

Footwear

Perkadox® 14S-FL is an efficient peroxide curative for footwear applications. Perkadox® 14S-FL is a very efficient peroxide curative, without the formation of the unwanted acetophenone odor in footwear articles.

EVA encapsulant for solar cells

EVA & POE is widely used as an encapsulant for photovoltaic modules because of its outstanding properties, such as electric insulation, flexibility and toughness. We supply Trigonox® 117/Trigonox® 101/Trigonox® 131 crosslinking peroxides which are of the highest purity and ensure that di-electrical properties of the EVA & POE are maintained.

Most peroxide formulations available in powder form or granules made from compacted powder have the tendency to form dust, which can build up in production units, storage facilities, and weighing rooms.
