Amphomer 4961, Film former that provides excellent humidity resistance and hold when used in anhydrous or 80% VOC hair sprays. In hair spray systems, it offers improved stiffness, durability, and long-lasting hold compared to Amphomer® polymer. In addition, the Amphomer® 4961 polymer version provides improved compatibility with thickening agents (e.g. carbomer) for hard holding styling gels and other styling aids.

Amphomer HC, Amphomer® HC polymer is a high performance film-former and hair spray fixative specifically designed for use in systems containing a large proportion of hydrocarbon propellant. It is also compatible with dimethyl ether propellant systems and can be used to produce crystal clear hair spray solutions. Films of the polymer are hard, yet flexible, resulting in formulations that have excellent long-lasting hold. Amphomer® HC polymer provides the well-known market-leading stiffness and humidity resistance similar to Amphomer® polymer.

Amphomer LV-71, In 80% VOC hair sprays containing approximately 15% water, Amphomer® LV-71 polymer can provide fine atomization as well as the superior features and benefits expected from Amphomer® polymer, including excellent stiffness and high humidity curl retention properties. Amphomer® LV-71 polymer’s composition is also covered under US Patent 9,119,972 B2, and can act as a hair shield for hot heating implements such as flat irons and curling wands, helping to protect the hair cuticle from hair damage caused by heat.
