AkuPure™ NC ultra-pure CMC is an innovative bio-based, biodegradable, and multi-functional hydrocolloid that has been tailored to meet the stringent requirements of lithium-ion batteries commonly used in electric vehicles, energy storage systems, and consumer electronics and power tools.

Our ultra-pure CMC is key to the slurry preparation, mixing, and coating process during battery cell manufacturing. It is designed to facilitate stability and efficiency, enhance rheology control, minimize gel impurities, and reduce anode film and cell resistance. With this innovative tool, we are able to contribute to improvements in battery performance.
