  This polymer is designed for improved stiffness durability, and long-lasting hold compared to Amphomer in high alcohol systems. It also offers lower formulation viscosity in alcohol-free systems.

  Amphomer® HC

  Designed for use in high hydrocarbon propellant systems. It is also compatible with dimethyl ether propellant systems and can be used to produce crystal clear hair spray solutions.

Our Resyn polymers are film-forming hair fixatives that offer cost-effective stiffness with flexibility in high alcohol hair spray formulas. They provide strong holding power, manageability, gloss, and adhesion to the hair without flaking.

  Balance® 47

  This powder acrylic polymer provides a low solution viscosity in high water systems. Low VOC aerosol and pump hair sprays containing Balance 47 polymer spray finer with smaller particles for reduced drying times.

  Balance® CR

  This acrylic emulsion polymer provides ease of use when formulating alcohol-free to 80%VOC hair sprays and styling aids. Films of this polymer are hard, offer excellent humidity resistance and provide a more natural, flexible feel on the hair.

  This alkali swellable acrylic emulsion polymer that provides viscosity, excellent stiffness, and high humidity style retention for crystal clear hair gels.

Our DynamX polymers are unique polyurethane and acrylate copolymer film formers designed for hairsprays that deliver flexibility with long-lasting hold properties. They are supplied as pre-neutralized solutions that can be easily formulated into hairsprays and other styling aids. DynamX polymers provide a strong, flexible hold with style memory (durable hold) that is required for dynamic hairstyles.

  This polymer was designed for alcohol-free styling systems. Its supplied as a pre-neutralized aqueous solution and provides the same performance properties as DynamX.

Our Biostyle polymers are hybrid fixatives that are environmentally responsible choices for today’s natural styling formulating needs.

  Biostyle® CGP

  This styling polymer has a high natural content and performs as a match to PVP K-30 and PVP/VA systems. In addition to providing a similar hold, this polymer also delivers exceptional volume generation and root lift while providing a workable hold.

  Biostyle® XH

  This partially natural styling polymer can provide high hold levels equal to traditional PVP K-90 fixatives. Similar to Biostyle CGP, this polymer provides volume generation, root lift, and a firmer hold.

It offers not only the outstanding fixative properties, but also serves as an efficient thickener, simplifying the formulation and manufacturing process.

Our Flexan II  is a versatile polymer that forms clear, flexible films which contract upon drying, lending itself to curl enhancement applications. Flexan II quickly dissipates electric charge to minimize reduce static and keep frizz under control, builds good volume in hair, and helps to reduce surface tension while adding low viscosity to the final formulation.

  Flexan® ll

  Flexan® II water soluble polymer films are strong yet flexible, making it a multi-functional ingredient for various styling aids. The films are heat stable well above 300°C and therefore protect the hair from heat damage caused by using hair dryers, curling irons, or flat irons during the styling process.

Our Celquat Polyquaternium-4 products are excellent film formers that differ from the Polyquaternium-10 polymers in their comb-like distribution of the quaternized nitrogen charge versus an even charge distribution. They are well suited for hair styling applications that require conditioning properties with humidity-resistant hold. Due to their compatibilities with typical ingredients, these Celquat products can be easily formulated into non-aerosol products, such as gels, creams, or styling lotions as well as aerosol mousse systems.

  Celquat® H-100

  This polymer is a high viscosity Polyquaternium-4 variant. It has a higher relative molecular weight which delivers a higher stiffness and viscosity in comparison to L-200. It also has a moderate degree of cationic substitution which provides light conditioning in application while still offering good compatibility with anionic ingredients. It is recommended for use in moderate to high viscosity systems that require some conditioning benefits with little build-up.

  Celquat® L-200

  This polymer is a low viscosity Polyquaternium-4 variant. Due to its lower molecular weight, it offers less viscosity build and stiffness when compared to H-100. It possesses a higher cationic substitution which means it is typically recommended in applications that require more conditioning, such as mousses.

Film forming polymers and rheology control agents define the final form and function of styling products, making the choice of rheology modifier a critical formulation decision. The best styling products address the consumer-desired viscosity as well as flow and spreading properties.

  Structure® 2001

  Multifunctional associative thickener ideal for high viscosity systems with exceptional shear-thinning properties that can also provide moderate hold properties. Very stable in presence of solvents and counter irons.

  Structure® 3001

  Multifunctional associative thickener with lower viscosity and lighter hold properties compared to Structure 2001. Outstanding tolerance to salt, solvents and counter irons. Provides gel-like texture, yet very workable.
