Aminoethylethanolamine (AEEA) is a linear molecule with primary and secondary amine groups. AEEA is a colorless liquid, with slightly higher viscosity than EDA and DETA. It is used as an intermediate in the fabrication of detergents, fabric softeners, chelates, fuel additives and coatings.

Aminoethylpiperazine (AEP) is an ethylene amine with unique molecular structure, as it contains a primary, secondary and tertiary amine.
