Applications
Arquad® series products are non-oxidizing, surface-active organic biocides for oilfield applications. They adsorb onto microbial cell membranes and disrupt their function, providing effective control with lower corrosivity than oxidizing biocides. Selection is guided by target organisms, applicable approvals, and the intended treatment regime, in line with regional regulatory requirements. Some biocides also contribute to corrosion inhibition.
