  • Applications

    The pulp and paper industry uses hydrogen peroxide as a bleaching agent and as a reducing agent in the production of chlorine dioxide. It is also a common bleaching agent used in the textile industry. Hydrogen peroxide is used in the manufacture of both inorganic and organic chemicals and for the surface treatment of metals. The gentle effectiveness and harmless by-products of hydrogen peroxide have made it a natural for environmental remediation applications and treating industrial and municipal wastewater. Its bactericidal properties make it useful in various water and food disinfection applications, as well. Hydrogen peroxide, under a strict marketing authorization is also used to treat parasites in Aquaculture - please contact your Nouryon representative to ensure that you obtain the correct product for your particular application.
