Premium quality chemically pure sodium and potassium hydroxide pellets since 1904. 

The consistency and low levels of impurities of our chemically pure alkali makes us a reliable partner to customers in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, electronic and food industry as well as for laboratories. We are equipped to provide tailor-made pellets at practically any purity required.

The plant in Bohus, Sweden is one of only a few plants in the world capable of making sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and potassium hydroxide (KOH) pellets of premium quality. Our quality system follows the GMP, Good Manufacturing Practices guidelines for excipients and we are certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

  • Personal Care Our highly alkaline pellets are used in cosmetic production and synthesis for saponification, cleaning and pH-adjustment.
  • Pharmaceutical industry Pharmaceutical production/synthesis, saponification, cleaning and pH-adjustment. Fine and laboratory chemicals (synthesis and analyses)
  • Electronics For chips, photoresists, semiconductors and PCB as well as stripping of photoresists and etching of metallic silicone.
  • Food Our highly alkaline pellets are used in a variety of applications where high-quality systems are needed.
  • Chemical intermediates A highly caustic alkali, soluble in water and is commonly used as a strong base in (organic) chemical synthesis.
